Little Learners

Moora Primary School’s Little Learners is an educational programme designed especially for 3-year-old children (or those turning 3 prior to the end of June) who will be attending a Kindergarten program next year.

We aim to provide an environment and experiences that:

• Are developmentally appropriate;
• Maximise opportunity for socialisation with peers and adults;
• Provide opportunity for creative expression, experimentation and sensory exploration;
• Develop skills (social, emotional, language, intellectual, creative and physical);
• Introduce pre-literacy and pre-numeracy skills through play and exploration; and, above all
• Are FUN and ENGAGING 

Little Learners is not formal schooling, nor is it day-care. It is a carefully planned programme that supports your child to develop social/emotional, cognitive and motor skills that will facilitate a smooth transition to formal schooling.
